My Story
I am the older sister. I am an ambitious, perfectionistic, fix-it-all, goody-two-shoes in recovery!
I love coffee ice cream and at the moment I have a fixation with a local chocolate shop that I tried for the first time a few days ago.
My first instinct is to help people, to be the best at my job, to do it all (no help needed), to go over and beyond what’s expected of me, to impress you with my brains, my strength, and my kindness.
This persona that I developed in childhood as a survival and thriving mechanism has taken over my life, my authentic being, and my true desires.
It took several severe physical alarm bells to wake me up. The longest one was a 16 year chronic migraine.
Why was my emotional and mental anguish expressed in physical form?
Because I am too smart and my brain has learned to protect me from emotional and mental overwhelm by creating stress-induced physical symptoms (from immediate and temporary skin eruptions, to ovarian cysts, chronic migraines, and acid reflux).

Over a decade ago, after trying all here in the states with no resolve, I left my corporate job to find the answer to my pain. I traveled and lived in Asia.
That’s where I had my first breakthrough. It was the often used, rarely understood, often mocked “mind-body connection!”
This opened the doors to a plethora of Western trained PhD, doctors, surgeons research & work on this Mind-Body Connection and its vital importance to our mental, emotional, and physical pain.
Finally, my migraines were gone for good!
I took a few brave women through my process and it worked for them too (SI joint pain, fibromyalgia, nerve impingement, shoulder pain).
Now I was intrigued.
I knew I had to share it with the world.
But because I consider myself an intellectual (hello my constructed persona), I had to get the diplomas to back me up.
I went back to school and got a Masters in Psychology - Summa Cum Laude - because this girl is on fire! … and because this girl is ambitious - perfectionist in recovery!
Now I’m working on my doctorate in psychology.
Did I mention I’m an ambitious - perfectionist in recovery?
In the meantime I put together a psychology based mind-body program with eastern influences that distilled my breakthrough process. It worked on so many different chronic pains.
Now the kicker! (in case you need another one)
While working on getting rid of their physical pains, my clients have observed huge breakthroughs in their personal and professional lives. They all finally stepped into the leadership role in their own lives, not just of the ones around. Owning and respecting their true selves!
That earned me the badge of Leadership Coach!
As I'm working through the process of being better and better at releasing my constructed persona, and stepping into my authentic self by breaking patterns, stepping up and taking up space, while confidently expressing my true whole self, I invite you to do the same and start feeling authentic, brave, and fierce!
You are here to shine your own light. Brightly! Unapologetically!
